The online catalog uses white letters on a gray background. Unfortunately if you use a white background you will not see the number options in the catalog.
You can get around this by changing the "default" background color of your browser. Following are instructions for doing that in your Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer browsers.

       In Netscape Communicator click on the word Edit in the top left hand corner of your browser and choose Preferences. You will get a preferences box and see a Category section to the left. Click the plus mark  ( + ) to the left of the word Appearance so that it opens to reveal fonts and colors in the list. Click on Colors and to the right will appear the color settings. Click the button next to the word Background and choose gray then click OK.

      In Internet Explorer click on the word Tools in the top left corner of the browser and choose Internet Options. This will give you an internet options window. Click the General tab at the top left then at the bottom of that window click on the button for Colors. If  "use windows colors" is checked, uncheck it, and click on the background button, choose the color gray and click OK. Then click OK again in the internet options window. The background color will now default to gray unless otherwise specified in the web pages. This will enable you to view the number options on the catalog system.
