From a daguerrotype
It is what was very likely their wedding photo, probably in late 1913 or very
early 1914; their daughter, Marcia, my mother, was born in October of 1914.
The title of the picture, "Granddaddy and John", refers to our childish
name for my grandmother.
For some reason, she got tagged with the name John instead of Grandmother.
I have no idea why, my mother was never able to explain it to my
satisfaction.
Just one of those mysteries.
