Son of John Holland and Elizabeth H. Majors, was born September 24, 1835 in Belton Township, Anderson, SC, and died May 04, 1892 in Beaverdale, Whitfield, GA. He married (1) AMANDA ELIZABETH SCOTT December 04, 1854. She was born September 18, 1839, and died December 18, 1877. He married (2) CINDARILLA DARLISKA AMANDA HALL August 03, 1879 in Anderson Co., SC, daughter of AARON HALL and CLEMENTINA NORRIS. She was born June 30, 1844 in Anderson, SC, and died December 20, 1914 in Houston, TX. Leroy is buried at Deep Springs Baptist Church in Whitfield County, GA. Leroy joined the Confederate Army on November 15, 1861 and was a member of Company "L" of the 2nd South Carolina Rifles, Jenkins Brigade under the command of General Robert E. Lee. He served 4 years. Leroy was with General Lee when he surrendered at Appomattox Courthouse in Virginia on April 9, 1865
