FILE SUBMISSION FORMS:
These forms at http://www.poppet.org/hifiles/
allow you to type your record and submit it.
This will create a file in a format acceptable for HIArchives and ready for posting.
These forms are not mandatory and if you have data already typed please send it in text
format directly to the Hawaii Archives Manager,
Maggie Stewart (hawaii@maggie-sz.org)
as explained below.
The USGenWeb Archives were established to provide a permanent, centralized
repository for all genealogical and historical data collected by the USGenWeb Project, including its county subsidiaries. All data collected is
available to the public free of charge in perpetuity. At this time we are
accepting public domain records of almost any type relating to genealogical
research, and limited copyrighted records only with written permission of
the copyright holder. We are interested in census indices and abstracts,
wills, vital statistics, land and military records, immigration records,
cemetery records, and other kinds of records relating to genealogy
and history. We cannot accept gedcoms at this time.
Please contact the Hawaii Archives manager listed
below for more information. All transcriptions are done in basic text
format, such as created in Notepad, and not by a word processor,
database, or spreadsheet application.
If you have genealogical data you would like to contribute to any of these
archive pages, you may send your file, as text, in an e-mail
message to Hawaii USGenWeb Archives Manager
Maggie Stewart (hawaii@maggie-sz.org).
