| I own copies of the Population census from 1860-1930. I prefer the 1870 and 1880 because they are digitized and
searchable. The others are too time-consuming for volunteer work. 1860 (Slave and Free) through 1920 and own copies of the microfilm for Jackson, Lincoln,Claiborne, Richland, I have done courthouse research in Jonesboro (marriage, property, military, voter registration, etc) I have also done courthouse research in Lincoln Parish (Ruston), Bienville Parish (Arcadia), Natchitoches (Natchitoches) Parishes. My speciality is "African American." |
