| Jeremiah Walker (Sergeant in the Revolutionary War) and some family members arrived in Louisiana about 1790-1800. He brought his wife and children who settled in the Bayou Chicot area of St. Landry Parish. The 1830 census has Mrs. Jeremiah Walker as head of household. I am a descendant of Jeremiah. |
