Information on Dakota County:

Dakota was created in 1849.   It's county seat is Hastings.  It's cities and town and communities  include:  Castle Rock, Empire, Farmington, Hampton, Hastings,  Inver Grove, Mendota Heights, New Trier, Pinebend, Rich Valley, Rosemount, South St. Paul and West St. Paul. Crow Wing is located in western Minnesota.
