Norman County was organized on February 17, 1881, from a part of Polk County.  The County Seat is Ada.
Cities, towns and communities include:  Ada, Borup, Gary, Hadler, Halstad, Hendrum, Lockhart, Shelly, Syro, Twin Valley, Wauko and Wheatville.
