Box Butte County
(Hemingford)
Nonpariel (Osborne) Cemetery
Tombstone Photos

Go approximately 9 miles north of Alliance on Highway 385 until you come to a Y in the highway system and a viaduct. Go under the viaduct and continue to travel north on Highway 2 for approximately four miles until you come to its intersection with Grant Road. Turn to the left onto Grant Road (a gravel road) and travel for three and 1/2 miles. The cemetery is on the south side of Grant Road. Older maps of Nebraska show Highway 385 as being on the east side of Alliance and traveling north. However due to changes in the highway systems by the Nebraska Department of Roads Highway 385 is now on the west side of Alliance going north. There is only one tombstone in Nonpariel (Osborne) Cemetery. However the Knight Museum has a listing of other people who are buried there without tombstones as well as a list of individuals who have been moved to another cemetery.
