Clarence F. Porter Jr.
September 1932 to January 2995

  Fred Porter, Jr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 
January 29, 2005. He joins his father Clarence F. Porter Sr., his mother Laura 
M. Porter, and younger brother Leland R. "Bud" Porter Sr. 
  Fred was born in Richmond, CA, and spent his childhood and teens in the 
Northern California area. Fred proudly served over 20 years in the US Army and 
received the Bronze Star medal for his service in Vietnam.
  He will be greatly missed by his surviving family, wife Monica Porter of 
Tacoma, WA: daughter Catherine Monroe of Olympia, WA; son Richard Porter of 
Tacome, WA, son Kevin Porter of Fall River, MA: daughter Teresa Porter of 
Spanaway, WA: son Michail Porter of Salem, OR: daughter Monica Porter of 
Seattle, WA: daughter Karen Porter of Auburn, WA: nephew Leland "Bud" Porter 
Jr. of Acampo, CA, and several grandchildren.
  Mills & Mills Funeral Home is handling a private family service.
  Fred will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
