COL. FRANK W. DANA

JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL, was born in Lubec, Washington County, March 25, 1853. He prepared for college in the public schools of Lewiston, and entered Bowdoin College in 1871, graduating in the class of '75. Soon after receiving his diploma he began the study of law, and was admitted to the Adroscoggin bar. He opened an office in Lewiston, and has succeeded in building up an excellent practice. In 1884, he was elected president of the Lewiston and Auburn Street Railway, which, under his wise and judicious management, has acquired an extensive business. Col. Dana is a member of the board of managers of the Lewiston Board of Trade, and president of the Dirigo Mutual Accident Association. He is energetic, active, and public spirited, and has justly won the honors that have been given him.
