| Was born in Presque Isle, October 21, 1852. He attended the common schools, the Presque Isle Academy, and graduated from Maine State College in the class of '76. After graduation he entered the law office of Col. Jasper Hutchins, where he remained a short time, and then entered the office of H. R. Downes of Presque Isle. He was admitted to the Aroostook bar in 1877. He has been county attorney four years and town treasurer nine years. He is president of the Presque Isle National Bank, and is a member of the Republican State Committee. | |
