Councilor from the Second District, was born in Standish in 1847. At the present time he is a member of the firm of J. H. & T. Lord, lumbermen and general traders. He has held the various town offices. In 1864, Mr. Lord was a clerk in the War Department in Washington. In the Legislatures of 1879 and 1880 he was a member of the House. He has served his county two terms in the State Senate. In 1887-88 he was a member of the Governonr's Council, being chairman of that body. His intimate acquaintance with the wants and the interests of the State, as well as with the work of the Council, renders him a valuable man in the position that he now occupies. |
